I love helping people and I sincerely love being a realtor. I can remember needing to buy a home so desperately because we put our house up for sale and was unprepared when it sold within a week. We had to move into a small 3 bedroom apartment with six kids, and a dog because we couldn’t find our perfect home. Nor could we find an agent that understood the needs and schedule of a wife, and mom with six busy kids. I ended up sobbing uncontrollably inside the dugout at a softball game I was playing in. I just couldn’t take it anymore in that tiny apartment. My teammate wrapped her arms around me and said, “Lena you can buy my house.” I stopped crying and said, “really?” I can laugh about it now. And 16 years later we are still in that very house. It has seen all six kids become adults, go to college and even marry.
